Future Reunions Schedule:
Classes ending in 1 or 6:
May 27, 28 and 29, 2011
Does your class year end in 0 or 5?
This May, you can celebrate your lifelong connection to Brown through your class reunion. Renew ties with friends, explore new ideas through Commencement and Alumni Reunion Forums, and discover common ground with people you may not have known.
In early March, we’ll send you a planner with a complete event schedule, on-campus housing details and registration instructions. In the meantime, get started with the information below.
Contact Friends and Classmates
Now is the time to find old friends and classmates in the Alumni Directory
or in your class’s Facebook group: 2005, 2000, 1995, 1990, 1985, 1980, 1975, 1965. Make plans to come back together!

Stay on Campus
Continue the excitement of being on campus and connecting with your classmates even after your planned activities are over. Take advantage of Brown’s residence hall accommodations.
Make your reservations with the Office of Residential Life early! On-campus housing reservation forms are sent with your registration mailing and the Residential Life online reservation system opens in March. Rates for 2010 have not been finalized, but the standard room rate for 2009 was $52 per bed, per night, with a two-night minimum for all reservations. Accommodations are free for classes out 50 years or more, but advance reservations are required.
Indicate if you wish to be assigned near specific classmates you know are coming back. Residential Life makes every effort to house classes together whenever possible. In general, classes from the 10th through the 70th reunions are housed close to Wriston and Keeney Quads and the 5th reunion class is housed on Pembroke Campus.
Keep in mind that for the majority of on-campus rooms, there are shared bathroom facilities and stairs to climb. If you have special needs, please indicate so when you make your reservation. Residential Life tries to honor all special requests. All rooms include basic essentials such as bed linens, pillow, blanket, towels and soap. However, you may wish to pack an alarm clock, a hand mirror, a small fan, or other amenities to make your stay more enjoyable.
Hotel Space in Greater Providence is Limited and Goes Quickly!
Book your room(s) as early as possible if you would like to stay in a Providence hotel or inn. For a complete list of hotels, inns, and bed-and-breakfast locations, visit the R.I. Department of Tourism website or call 800-250-7384. The Providence/Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau (800-233-1636) offers additional information on local accommodations.
Ensure Your Child Enjoys Reunion as Much as You Do
Reunion Weekend is a family event for many alumni. For those events that may not be kid-friendly due to start times or food offerings, enroll your child in Brown’s reunion childcare services, Camp Bruno. Age-appropriate activities are available for children ages 3 and older on campus at the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center. Brown has partnered with the program provider, Children’s Conference Care, Inc., for over fifteen years so you can relax and enjoy reconnecting with your old friends while your child makes new ones. See 2009 program details (40K pdf).
