Building the Car of Tomorrow*
Faculty and students at Brown and RISD are building an alternative vehicle for urban areas. Designed in part by research engineer Chris Bull and his class, the car has a seven-horsepower biodiesel engine and potentially can go 100 miles on one gallon of fuel.

Sophomore Craig Kinsley finished his season at the 2009 Division 1 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship ranking third in the nation in the javelin. Kinsley’s performance earned him USTFCCCA All-American honors. He was one of three Brown athletes to compete in the tournament. |
