Dear Classmates,
As your class officers, we have three primary responsibilities: maintaining the class treasury, collecting contact information, and building connections among classmates even during off-reunion years. This fall, we are reaching out to you via this letter and via e-mail to do all three.
Class Treasury:
Our goal is to build our treasury as much as possible in anticipation of our 20th Year Reunion. We collect these funds via $35 class dues, which help offset reunion expenses as well as costs of other class events that may be planned between reunion years.
Contact Information:
Help us reach you and all of your closest Class of 1991 friends! This year, we made a focused effort to improve our contact rate with all of you – in particular via e-mail. We are now in touch with over 74% of our class via e-mail. However, we understand that e-mail addresses change frequently. Please don’t forget to include us when you keep folks informed of your new e-mail address or other important data changes. Updating your information could not be easier. If your contact information changes, you can simply update your email address via the '91 class website, brownclassof1991@yahoo.com.
Staying Connected:
Visit our website to explore a new set of group profiles – interviews with 1991 alums around a certain topic. This fall, with much national and even world attention focused on our presidential election, we produced the politics and public policy profiles after interviewing several alumni who are involved in these fields. They shared their unique Brown background to reflect on our current political climate, the upcoming election, and advice for current Brown students.
We hope the fall of 2008 is off to a fantastic start for you. We know that you are all always reconnecting with Brown friends through professional ties, larger social events, regional alumni events and informal gatherings among friends. Please contact us via our class e-mail account, let us know what you and other alums have been up to and send pictures. Your lives, your stories and your interests are our content.
